Overview
Bedrock integrates AI throughout the platform to automate routine tasks, surface recommendations, and help users make better campaign decisions. The approach is “agentic” — the AI acts as an assistant that can take actions on your behalf, not just answer questions.
Pathfinder
Pathfinder is Bedrock’s built-in AI agent, available across the platform. It can:
- Answer questions about the platform, features, and best practices.
- Recommend inventory based on your campaign goals, audience, and budget.
- Help build campaigns by suggesting streams, targeting configurations, and bidding strategies.
- Explain performance data and suggest optimizations.
Pathfinder is accessible from any page in the platform and is particularly useful for:
- New users learning the platform.
- Quick inventory discovery without manual browsing.
- Getting explanations of metrics and features.
Scout (Coming Soon)
Scout is the next phase of Bedrock’s agentic strategy — an AI agent designed for proactive campaign management. While Pathfinder responds to user questions, Scout monitors campaigns autonomously and surfaces insights and recommendations without being asked.
The Vision
Bedrock’s long-term AI strategy follows a progression:
- Reactive assistance (Pathfinder today) — answer questions, make recommendations when asked.
- Proactive monitoring (Scout) — watch campaigns, alert on issues, suggest optimizations.
- Autonomous optimization — AI makes campaign adjustments within user-defined guardrails.
- Strategic planning — AI recommends campaign strategies based on advertiser goals, historical performance, and market conditions.
Each phase builds on the previous, with the user always in control of how much autonomy the AI has.
